The Grade Point Average (GPA) is the measurement of the student achievement. It is calculated dividing the total number of accumulated credits in the assignments where the student has been given a final grade, including the not repeated “F” grades, by the total number of honor points resulting from the value assigned to each rating, namely: A (4.00), A- (3.70), B+ (3.30), B (3.00), B- (2.70), C+ (2.30), C (2.00), C- (1.70), F (0.00). The subjects marked with “W” are not counted for the index.
A GPA 3.00, which represents a grade of “B”, is considered satisfactory in graduated level.
Graduating rate is the measurement of the student achievement. In this calculation is only considered those courses required for the degree.
The Specialty index is a measure of student achievement. This calculation only considers those courses of specialty.
The Retention Index is the minimum index achievement needed to stay like student in Herbert Fletcher University. It will be considered poor the academic work of a student if it is not met the minimum index at the end of each year.
