As an Institution emphasize the vision of offering spiritual counseling services guiding each student to the search for wellbeing where we can help the student in his mental, spiritual and physical life. All this can be achieved in a professional, ethical and contextual framework.

Mission

Our mission is to restore God’s image through knowledge,the personal reflection where each person can  internalize the principles that will help them to grow in each aspect of life to be a useful person in society. Through the counseling that we can offer an atmosphere of respect, love, confidentiality, aiming at promoting the overall growth of the person in the professional live, with the family, in the church and to the organization in which provides his services.

Functions of the Chaplaincy

• Offer services of professional counseling with the purpose of attending the spiritual and interpersonal needs of the virtual members community.
• Promote the pastoral online pastoral care to students, facilitators or administrative staff requiring direct attention in times of need.
• Provide chaplaincy regarding resources and materials: theological subjects, axiological, christian reflection, effective communication, conflict resolution, time management, among others.
• Plan and develop spiritual activities such as prayer weeks, seminars, tutorials, videos, among others for the wellbeing of the virtual university community of HFU.
• Promote events for reflection and topic discussion of interest in online.
